Women like me, blessed with curves in all the right places, don’t have the luxury to just throw on anything we like underneath our favorite outfit. We have to make sure it emphasizes all our assets! Well I’m a girl with boobs, peeps tend to call me “Double D Nathalie”, hips and a small waist. So talking about lingerie on the blog, was inevitable. Not an easy subject, because you don’t want to attract pervs! But I decided to give it a try and share the most beautiful and underestimated of garments in the blogosphere with you: lingerie.
When you are a girl like me, you’re a perfect fit to draw the sexy/retro card when it comes to lingerie.
I’ll start with introducing you to some of my favorite brands:

Chantal Thomass

Chantal Thomass has been on of my dream brands for years now. Probably one of the first that caught my eye. I adore the retro look and over-the-top French styling. Their newest campaign was fabulously shot by Ellen von Unwerth. Unfortunately I haven’t got any CT styles in my closet yet, hoping to have some soon.

la fille d’O

la fille d’O has been added to my “wanted” list ever since she started creating lingerie for larger cups. I love Murielle’s provocative style and unusual seems, shapes and fabrics. With her brand she brings a hymn to real women everywhere, encouraging them to love their bodies the way they are. The only downside? I always tend to first fall in love with the styles that can only exist in smaller sizes The grass is always greener… or something like that! So best to ask what would fit you before you start grabbing all you see.

Agent Provocateur

Agent Provocateur, the perfect partner in sexy crime! I have been a fan of the brand for years and have a few sets I have “grown out off” over the years, so time to get some brand spanking new yumminess into my closet. My current favorite in the Classics section? The Margot range. Check out the poise you’ll radiant wearing this set in the video above. AP sure knows how to bring sexy to the right humorous level! Got to love them.

What Katie Did

For the ultimate retro fix, What Katie Did is THE brand to go to. On my “have to buy one day”-list: The bullet bra! Don’t know if it’ll suit me, but they do sell it in my size. On top, this brand is very affordable! So just go and live life the “Mad Men”-way every once in a while.

Louve

And the last one for today girls: Louve. Not a lingerie brand, but a French fashion brand investigating the fine line between lingerie and fashion. Laure Guérard emphesizes in her first collection what I love most about lingerie: a delicate sensuality so strong, it can concur every man’s heart. Who run the world? Yeah, that’s right!
